Its leaves are much narrower compared to most other varieties of Rotalas. In the context of a natural aquarium concept, plants with thinner and narrower leaves are often used on the sides to create a sense of depth. Thinner and narrower leaves provide a feeling of distance, while larger and thicker leaves convey a sense of proximity.
