The Blue Ribbon Tetra typically measures about 4 to 5 centimeters in length and is known for its striking iridescent coloration. This gives them a glowing “ribbon-like” appearance when light hits them, making them especially eye-catching in planted aquariums.

Blue Ribbon Tetras are social fish and are usually best kept in groups to reduce stress and encourage natural schooling behavior among individuals.
